When a South Carolina woman heard her young son didn't want to wear his new glasses because he thought people would make fun of him, she decided to do something big to make him feel better.

Lindsey Fisher says when she took 4-year-old Noah to the eye doctor to fit him for some frames, everything seemed like it would be fine. But not for long. (Via WKMG)

"I said, 'Put your glasses on,' and he just broke into tears. I finally got him to tell me why he was crying, and he said because everyone was going to laugh at him." (Via USA Today)

Fisher knew she had to do something to make Noah more comfortable with his new look.

So she made this Facebook page, Glasses For Noah. The page had nearly 2,000 likes as of early Friday morning, and, even better than that, hundreds of pictures of people wearing their own glasses. (Via Facebook / Glasses For Noah)

"They took time out of their day to post a picture of themselves for a little boy that half of them probably don't even know." (Via WLTX)

And even though Fisher says Noah is finally getting used to his glasses, encouraging pictures and posts are still being posted to the page every day. (Via WFXT)

Fisher says she makes sure to show Noah the new photos that come in every night before bed. His favorite pic so far? The Hulk sporting some spectacles.

"Thank you for all the pictures." (Via WLTX)
