Shia LaBeouf kicks some serious butt in his role in Transformers. But out on the streets in Canada -- he’s the one getting pummeled. Here’s TMZ with the video.

A writer for Mercury News says that LaBeouf was relentless and wasn’t prepared to give up the fight. Luckily his friends were there to restrain him.
“After getting up, LaBeouf -- apparently believing a nearby car would change into a giant robot...and help him -- was held back by friends, one of whom told the actor, "You gotta lay low right now."
But this isn’t Shia’s first time in the ring. US Weekly reports a similar situation broke out at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks in February earlier this year.
“An eyewitness … tells Us the actor, 24, was taunted by a fellow patron inside the bar before being 'sucker punched in the mouth' when their conversation was taken outside.”
After his first fist tango, LaBeouf told Ellen back in May the only opinion that matters to him is his moms.
Shia LaBeouf: "I mean, people get drunk, people get crazy."
Ellen DeGeneres: "And do you care what people -- about your public persona?"
LaBouf: "I mean, the only opinion that really counts for me, and I don't care how cheesy it sounds, my mother's opinion is a very serious deal for me. Really the only honest opinion I feel I truly have."
The Chicago Sun Times reports that Labeouf’s repetitive rumbles have caused his friends to urge him to seek anger management. Currently he’s in Canada shooting his new film “The Company You Keep.” A key crewmember of the film told the Sun Times...
“These things can happen when Shia’s been drinking. He can turn nasty so fast. … He’s like Sean Penn. One moment he can be totally charming, and then he’ll lose it and go off on someone -- especially when it’s a nut in a bar who is looking for a fight.”
So, next time Labeouf heads out for some booze he might want to keep an eagle eye out.
