A rumor that could rock Penn State even further. Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden says the Jerry Sandusky Penn State scandal is about to get much, much worse.

Here are his comments on Boston radio station WEEI.

“I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors.”

Madden provided no proof of these latest allegations, only saying two well-known journalists are currently investigating the claim. But Madden also broke the Sandusky story, six months before it went public. Business Insider says, that counts for something.

“We'd say this is ridiculous, and that you should take it with a grain of salt. But Madden actually wrote about Sandusky for the Beaver County Times six months ago — long before the scandal blindsided everyone else this week.”

Back in April of this year, Madden wrote....

“If Paterno and Penn State knew, but didn't act, instead facilitating Sandusky's untroubled retirement - are Paterno and Penn State responsible for untoward acts since committed by Sandusky? This is far from an outrageous hypothesis, especially given the convenient timeline.”

Few mainstream media outlets have picked up Madden’s comments. But some are already speculating what would happen, if his allegations are true.

“If this new rumor is true, what happened in the shower is only the tip of a true monster. Prostitution is illegal and seen by most as immoral. And that’s when the prostitutes are overage. … If it’s true it should mean the end of Penn State football, at least temporarily.”

Madden says he usually stays away from rumors, but he adds this whole scandal began as rumor, which has since been verified. Ology’s Anthony Scheck talks about Madden’s motivations.

“Madden risks his personal reputation by claiming Sandusky acted as a pimp; it's possible that he would do so for a few minutes of fame, but considering the subject matter and his previous work, it seems likely that he has some good information.”
