Christian BryantAuthorities in Reno, Nev. identified all three victims from Tuesday's deadly Renown Regional Medical Center shooting and said the shooter might have targeted his victims.
Dr. Charles Gholdoian, pictured here, died from a gunshot wound in Tuesday's attack. Shawntae Spears, a patron at the medical center, and Dr. Christine Lejeunesse, a urologist, were also shot. Lejeunesse remains in critical condition while Spears has been upgraded to serious. (Via KRNV, KTVN)
Reno police are now putting together a timeline of events while also searching for a motive. They say the shooter walked into the Renown Medical Center and passed the front desk with a 12-gauge shotgun. (Via CNN)
He then went to the Urology Nevada office on the third floor and fired five shots before killing himself with the weapon. Deputy Police Chief Mac Venzon told reporters the fact that the shooter passed the first two floors suggests that the shooting was not random. (Via Fox News)
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports authorities spent the day searching a home in Lake Almanor, Calif. and believe they know the identity of the shooter. Authorities said they will not release his name until the next of kin is notified.
