One way or another, a horse or a bird is going home with the Lombardi Trophy for Super Bowl XLVIII. The big game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks is just around the corner, so what better way to predict the winner than by using nature itself?

Teddy Bear the poorly-named Porcupine has a pretty impressive track record — picking the correct winners of the past two years. Looks like the Seattle Seahawks for him this year. (Via YouTube / Zooniversity1)

But, in a majority victory, these Animal Planet pups went the Denver Broncos route. Still no word on who will win the iconic puppy bowl, though.

Seahawks can often prey on rabbits in the wild, but Fred the [quote] "Psychic" Bunny doesn't seem to care. He's got them winning it all. (Via YouTube / DaBeachBunnies

Buffett and Hugh, manatees at Florida's Mote Marine Laboratory, came to a split decision — choosing two different teams.

Hugh is going with the Seahawks, and he's been right four out of six years.

But Buffet is looking for his seventh straight victory and is putting his manatee moolah on the Broncos.

OK, looks like it's mostly a toss-up. But wait, this IS the first Super Bowl to be played on Groundhog Day.

Though, no luck here either. Last month, Clover, a New Jersey groundhog, predicted the matchup would be between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints. Still, weather is more a of groundhog's thing, and Clover's seeing clear skies instead of snow for this cold-weather Super Bowl. (Via The Star-Ledger

If you don't want to trust these guys, you can always try Vegas odds, where most have the Denver Broncos favored by two or three points. The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 2.
