A spokesperson for Lingerie Football? Sounds more like a job for Paris Hilton than Paris Jackson.

The thirteen year old daughter of Michael Jackson has been recruited by the Lingerie Football League to be a spokesperson for its youth program. For those who aren’t so familiar, lingerie football is females playing seven on seven tackle football. The only difference – the players are in bras, undies and shoulder pads, giving new meaning to fantasy football.

The league invited the late pop icon’s daughter to be a spokesman after she recently became the first girl ever to play for her LA private school’s flag football team.

TMZ obtained the official letter from LFL’s commissioner Mitchell S. Mortaza, which said not only is Jackson the spokesperson for the youth program, but they hopes she plays too.

"... perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18."

The program is introducing youth clinics to provide females with an equal opportunity to play football at a young age.  Still, The Hollywood Gossip can’t understand where the league is coming from.

“It's true that girls miss out on football, but don't ask us how Paris promoting a league where women prance around in lingerie is a good way to mentor kids.”

Writers from Crushable are appalled by the League’s recruitment of the sporty tween.

“Hey, Lingerie Football League? You’re disgusting. Can’t you let a 13-year-old girl enjoy playing sports without turning it into a sex thing? Good luck with that youth program, though!”

A columnist for Bleacher Report says Lingerie football is one of the lowest forms of entertainment and argues that Paris’ recruitment is going too far.

“The fact that Mortaza actually thinks that his league is breaking down barriers for women in football is disgusting in its own right. To try to brainwash Jackson's young mind, especially at this delicate time in her life, is even more disgusting and, quite frankly, embarrassing.”

Confident that the tween won’t accept the racy offer, the Christian Post knows one thing for certain.

“...she wants to play football. The King of Pop's daughter wants to help prove that girls can play on the gridiron too.”

While MJ’s daughter is yet to reply to the offer, either way it doesn’t look like she’ll be stripping down for sport for anytime soon.
