Unique baby names seem to be pretty popular lately- a daughter named Honor for Jessica Alba and a son Egypt for Alicia Keys. So how about children named Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation? WCAU has the story.

"In January of 2009 the kids were just babies when Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell were taken by New Jersey Child Protection Agents. The official reason was an anonymous claim that the kids had been abused. But Heath and Deborah have maintained that the kids were taken when it became public that they wanted Adolf Hitler Campbell’s name put on a birthday cake."

The parents also believe one of the reasons their kids were taken may be that they collect Nazi memorabilia. The father has swasticas tattooed on his wrist and his neck. WTXF asked the father about his tattoos.

Reporter: “But you have swasticas on your hands.”
Father: “Um, let’s see. India had that. China had that. I even have Chinese stuff up there. I even have a ying-yang.”
Reporter: “So you just like the way it looks?”
Father: “I like art.”
Father: We have the right to have our kids’ names. Our kids are beautiful kids. A name’s a name. They’re not going to grow up to hate any one. They’re not going to grow up to hurt people.”

On Tuesday, the court ruled that there was not sufficient evidence to prove abuse or neglect, but the children are not being returned. The Daily Mail may have found the reason.

“...Court records last year stated that both of the children's parents had been victims themselves of childhood abuse and while unemployed, were suffering from unspecified physical and psychological disabilities.”

And a Jezebel blogger doesn’t withold judgement, asking...

"Does it seem odd to anyone else that the most ardent defenders of the alleged purity and strength of white people genes always have really terrible white people genes?"

The parents picketed outside a New Jersey child services office on Tuesday. The next court date is scheduled for December.
