Are the politicians going to use the same health coverage as they are trying to sell the public?

Why Obama does not take more time to really pass a bill that is beneficial to all? Such an important issue should not be passed in haste to fullfill a promise. It should be carefully analizad from all points of view making sure that when it passes is to the benefit of all Americans. We the american people are all for it since Hillary Clinton started talking about it and the only thing she found was opossition, may be by the same people in Congress who are now rushing this bill, who knows?

I thought the President's speech was clear and to-the-point. I think the Republicans are just upset over the entire bill in general. Honestly, nothing President Obama says or offers is going to please them unless it's a complete turnaround from the point of a healthcare bill. But he's not going to remove the bill and completely switch to serving the conservative agenda. So their disappointment was more than foreseeable.

The President won the day...or the battle perhaps....but it's clear the war is still being waged. President Clinton had similar numbers after a speech 15 years ago, but with no concrete results. Until the public stands up and says what it wants in a clear voice...the "debate" will continue to hold sway and "action" will get the short-shrift.

Oh c'mon, and we should trust polls from FNC instead? But I agree the White House needs to do more to convince people. One primetime speech isn't going to work.

Of course the Rep from Tenn didn't "hear anything new" in Obama's speech, the conservatives clearly aren't listening. I don't think Obama could have explained it with any more clarity. The conservatives need to open their eyes and ears.

Two reactions to your comment: not everyone considered the outburst inappropriate (probably those who still believe in death panels) and don't you think that Rep. Wilson has had enough media attention already for something that adds very little to the actual debate?

How could this video ignore the most shocking reaction to Obama's speech - Joe Wilson's totally inappropriate outburst?
