In case you missed it, or want to relive it, this is your Newsy Week in Review:

In Egypt this week- a case of fool the media once:

SUNDAY, FEB. 6: “Fox News has exclusively learned that there was an assassination attempt on Omar Suleiman.”

Fool the media twice:

THURSDAY, FEB 10: “Breaking news out of Egypt, where NBC News has learned President Hosni Mubarak will step down tonight.”

Except that he didn’t.

JENNY MECKLES, NEWSY (THURSDAY, FEB. 10): “You’re hearing protesters calling for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to ‘get out’ after he ended his address to the nation without resigning.”

That is - until he actually did - less than 12 hours later.

(FRIDAY, FEB. 11) VICE PRESIDENT OMAR SULEIMAN: “I, President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak, has decided to step down as president of the Egypt. And has assigned the higher council of the armed forces to run the affairs of the country.”

Make that one wrong -- the other called too soon by the media. After 18 days of protests and an announcement that he wouldn’t -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down Friday afternoon.

And from one embattled leader to another --

ALEX ROZIER, NEWSY (THURSDAY, FEB. 10): “He hasn’t been definitively convicted so far, but Berlusconi might be in real trouble this time. The 74-year-old Italian Prime Minster Silvio Berlusconi has been under investigation since Dec. 21 2010 for allegedly paid sex with a 17-year-old prostitute...”

Then there was the Super Bowl story that wouldn’t quit.

A class action lawsuit filed in Dallas Tuesday night after...

ANNA COMPAIN ROMERO, NEWSY (WEDNESDAY, FEB. 9): “More than 1,000 fans with tickets had their seats relocated -- while some 400 had to watch live feeds because temporary seating wasn’t set up in time for the game.”

And from seatless in Dallas -- to shirtless in New York -- GOP Rep. Chris Lee resigned in the wake of a bare-chested Craigslist scandal.

KYRSTEN SKULBORSTAD, NEWSY (THURSDAY, FEB. 10): “Gawker reports Lee posed as a divorced, 39 year old lobbyist-- The real story? None of these are true for the 46 year old and married congressman.”

This week also saw the media marriage of the year.

CHANCE SEALES, NEWSY (MONDAY, FEB. 7): “AOL officially bought The Huffington Post for a whopping $315 million.”

And finally - Newsy’s most commented story of the week:

EMILY SPAIN, NEWSY (TUESDAY, FEB. 8): “He may have once been the most powerful man in the world, but George W. Bush’s world has just gotten a little smaller. Dubya recently canceled a speaking engagement in Geneva, Switzerland, citing security concerns -- but some analysts believe it’s more about the horde of human rights groups calling for his arrest and prosecution on war crime charges.”

From all of us here at Newsy - have a great weekend - and thanks for getting all your multisource video news analysis from Newsy.com.
