Did this week’s so-called Super Tuesday voters give a glimpse of how the 2012 election could play out? Most voters across the nation stuck with their incumbents this time around. CNN reports on a few outcomes regarded as upsets.


“Voters in Ohio overwhelmingly struck down a law restricting collective bargaining rights of public workers... In Mississippi, voter said not to the so-called ‘Personhood’ amendment... Republican State Senator Russell pierce who wrote a controversial immigration measure was defeated in a recall election...”


A powerful Pacific storm has Alaska in its sights. KOIN says Alaskans will have to ride out the quote “epic” storm, but it will weaken.


“This is an epic Alaskan storm. We’re talking about wind gusts in excess of of 100 miles per hour. We're talking about coastal flooding. We're talking about snow literally piling up on the beaches. Wow! That's the weekend storm.”


In London, an estimated ten thousand students rally against education cuts and tripling tuition fees. RT reports from the scene.


“Which we’ll see university fees increased by three fold -- which is 9,000 pounds per year. They’re also campaign against the government ‘White Paper’ that will for the first time allow private firms to offer degrees. The students see that as the privatization of their education.”


The Internet’s big three strike an online advertising alliance. That’s Microsoft, Yahoo, and AOL. As CNBC explains -- the marriage is could take a swipe at Google’s web ad-authority.


“The three companies will be able to sell each other's through their own systems, which is aiming to make it more efficient and easier for advertisers to launch big ad campaigns. This is key because even though google dominates search, they don't dominate display.”


The end of an era? ESPN reports the Patriots let go of defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth on Tuesday. Fox New’s pundit Adan Schein says -- good riddance.


“Bill Belicheck had to be disgusted looking at the game film against the Giants... I know Belicheck said after the game that it was quote ‘rotational’ -- well he can rotate his large derriere out of New England!”
