In the UK -- a judge rejects Julian Assange’s appeal against extradition to Sweden where he will stand trial for sexual misconduct. RT explains his next move.
“We understand that Assange’s defense team is calling for 14 days to appeal this decision... but a judge according to people inside the court, doesn’t seem to keen on that. He has already said that all four points of Assange’s defense have been rejected by the court, dismissed.”
World markets are still rattled after the Greece’s call for a referendum on an austerity plan renewed fears of default. MSNBC explains how Greece is gambling with the European and world economy.
JOE: “It appears that the people of Greece are going to literally play dice with the economy of Europe and the world.”

CAIN: “There was a financial settlement. And it was somewhere in the vicinity of three to six months' severance pay.”
REPORTER: “And now, ‘The New York Times’ is reporting that one of the women received a payment of one year's salary, $35,000."
In Alaska -- a U.S. soldier is held in Anchorage and accused of spying. CNN explains.
“Specialist William Colton Mallay was take into custody at the base in Anchorage, Alaska, where he was stationed. Officials are only saying that it's an ongoing investigation involving both the FBI and army counterintelligence. He'll be tried in the military court system.”
In entertainment -- a woman claims Justin Bieber is the father of her unborn child. Now he’s fighting back. Here’s Fox News.
“The 17-year-old superstar slapped with a paternity suit demanding he take a DNA test? A 20-year-old woman says she's pregnant with his baby. A spokesperson for Bieber says the claims are false and meanwhile, Justin just sings in the background like he doesn't have a care in the world.”
