In U.S. news -- former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will likely face prison time after a jury convicted him of corruption during a retrial. Jurors were unanimous on 18 of the 20 counts -- including trying to sell President Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat. The early risers on Morning Joe pay homage to his fall from grace.

GEIST: “We're going to dig a little deeper in the injustice that took place in Chicago yesterday. Blago, you're convicted on 17 of the corruption charges even though he beat the wrap last year.”
SCARBOROUGH: (singing) “We shall overcome.”
GEIST: “So yesterday before the verdict came in, he was going out his home, going to court, just whistling and Elvis tune.”
BLAGOJEVICH: “It's in God's hands. My hands are shaky, my knees are weak, can't stand on my own two feet.”
SCARBOROUGH: “All shook up.”

Still in the U.S. -- after Newt Gingrich’s camp quit on his Presidential candidate’s campaign, yet another GOP will be flying solo as well. CNN reports on Herman Cain’s internal dilemma.

“Herman Cain is hoping what happens to Newt Gingrich doesn't happen to him. We learned yesterday two of the Republican presidential candidates staffers quit...The campaign saying this is not really a big deal... But one of the New Hampshire state director Matt Murphy, he told a newspaper there in New Hampshire, that he quit because the Cain campaign was not seriously investing time, money, and resources into New Hampshire.”

In world news -- an update in Greece. Police clash with protestors after Greek unions stage a mass strike on Tuesday.

“You're looking live in Athens where doctors, ambulance drivers, casino workers and actors are all walking off their jobs. They're protesting a government decision to cut spending and hike taxes. Yes. Actors as well." (Fox News)

Still in world news -- China is flexing its economic muscle and has offered to take on some of Europe’s debt. Here’s CNBC.

ANCHOR 1: “They're still behind the European debt they've been buying at this time. He didn't make any specific comments which it came to which nations aside from Hungary.
ANCHOR 2: “And I think that the banner headline on Drudge was China races to save Euro, which is maybe overstating it a little, but there is an element of truth to that. That they’re getting involved.”

Finally in entertainment -- Bristol Palin is telling all in her new memoir titled -- “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.” In it she confesses more about her son’s father Levi Johnston, takes a stab at Meghan McCain, and says she’s done lying to her mother.

ROBERTS: “You talk about not that your virginity that you lost it, but you use the word stolen.”
BRISTOL PALIN: “I’m not accusing Levi of date rape or rape at all. But I am looking back with the adult eyes I have now and just thinking that was a foolish decision. I should have never been underage drink and never gotten myself in the situation like that.”
ROBERTS: “What are you going to say to your son when he’s older and he reads it or is told about how you wrote about his father.”
BRISTOL PALIN: “I don’t know if Levi will be a big role model or in his life at all.” (ABC News)
