In world news -- Chief Executive of New International Rebekah Brooks gave her resignation from Rupert Murdoch’s empire on Friday. Free from Murdoch’s oversight, MSNBC says she’ll still have to answer to the Parliament's investigation.

“Rebekah Brooks wrote a letter to her staff. In it she reiterated her apology she has made before about being sorry for news of the world's actions. She also went on to say that she has become a distraction in News Internationals efforts to try to fix the problems of the past. From the moment this scandal broke, Rebekah Brooks has been a lightning rod... Rebekah Brooks will be in the hot seat taking questions on the phone hacking scandal from the British parliament. They said they wouldn't attend what is bound to be a grilling.”

Still in world news - several international representatives are ready to recognize Libya’s rebels as the governing authority of the country. One of those diplomats is U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, CNN reports.

“Secretary of state Hilary Clinton is in Istanbul, Turkey, the first stop on a diplomatic world tour. While in turkey the secretary will meet with the international contact group on Libya trying to increase the pressure on the Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi to get out.”

In U.S. news -- New York police have charged Levi Aron for the murder of 8 year old Leiby Kletzky. ABC News reports Aron, who confessed to the murder, will stand in front of a grand jury today.

“So much new information coming out in the last 24 hours. Police say Levi Aron or Levi tied the boy to a couch to keep him from escaping. Still hasn't provided a motive for the crime. The attorney says his client is hearing voices and wants him placed on suicide watch. Entering the court to boos and heckling in the distances the monster who confessed to killing Leiby Kletzky appeared emotionless... New details are emerging about the two horrifying days Leiby was held captive. Monday he walked home alone from camp but asked for directions from the wrong man.”

Still in the U.S. -- Minnesotans will feel their government kick back on as Democratic Governor Mark Dayton struck a deal with GOP leaders. Here’s KAAL.

ANCHOR: “Governor Mark Dayton bending to political and public pressure agreeing to GOP budget offer from before the budget started, but with conditions...”
DAYTON: “We are committed to working together over the next few hours and couple days to get this nailed down so we have it nailed down and ready to go for a special session which will be be very soon," said Dayton.
REPORTER: “In the agreement there will be no state tax increases, just what Republicans wanted. It includes a $1.4 billion spending fund, half of it coming from delayed school aid payments and the other half from tobacco lawsuit settlement funds.”

In entertainment -- Lady Gaga has never followed to the rules of the fashion industry, but when it comes to YouTube, even the Fame Monster answers to a higher authority. Fox News explains.

"It wasn't all good news for Gaga today. No, YouTube suspending the famed monster's account for quote, ‘multiple severe violations of YouTube's copyright policy.’ The problem has to do with a video clip of gaga performing on a Japanese television network. The suspension is not permanent as long as Gaga's camp corrects it immediately."
