This is Newsy Now and here are the headlines y’all need to know.

The candidate of the moment, Rick Santorum is shooting up the polls in several states.  But the panel on MSNBC’s Morning Joe gives a reality check asking -- is Senator Santorum electable as a president?

“What Santorum is for in terms of cutting the budget, in terms of taxes, in terms of everything is just not where the American people are. So what Romney I think is trying to do is to find a middle ground... As Harold said, he and I were talking about who was more electable. But I think Romney's the only electable candidate in the field and I think that's what the voters are figuring out.”

Boeing is looking to close its plant in Witchita, Kansas by 2013 -- cutting more than 2,000 jobs from the area. CNBC has the reaction from media outlets in Kansas.

ANCHOR: “Investors like the news but Kansas politicians are furious, say they were completely blindsided. The Wichita mayor says he questions Boeing's integrity. You could even hear the anger in reporter questions to Boeing's Mark Cass.”

REPORTER: “...considering that Boeing now has a history of breaking their promises to Kansas, how can anyone in Kansas believe you when you say and amplify that Boeing is committed to Kansas?”

A prosecutor in Egypt is asking a judge to sentence former President Hosni Mubarak to the highest penalty allowed. Here’s CNN.

“This just in to CNN this morning. The prosecution in the case against Hosni Mubarak calling for the death penalty. The ousted leader is accused of ordering the assassinations that removed him from power last February.”

West Virginia rolls over Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl, putting up 70 points against the Tiger’s 35.  ESPN breaks down the record-breaking night.

“I would be lying saying we didn't watch ESPN to see the whole nation coming around beside ourselves. And that gave us motivation we needed to go out there and just play hard. Never could we imagine putting up 70 points...”

ANCHOR: “A week after Baylor sets the bowl record for points in a game with the 67 against Washington in the Alamo bowl, West Virginia says that is so last week, rewrites the record book once again with a 70 on Clemson.”

Couldn’t get enough of last year’s court room sensation Casey Anthony? Starting today you can get your fix in 2012 via YouTube.  Anthony is devoting time to a series of vlogs posted by her number one fan site CaseyAnthonyIsInnocent.com. Take a look.

ANTHONY: “It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July, and how much things haven’t changed.  The good thing is things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way... This is the first of many and I’m looking forward to this,”
