All three of Tuesday’s primaries belong to GOP presidential Rick Santorum, who’s sitting a little prettier this morning. Commentators on Fox and Friends say he ought to savor the moment.

“Attention, Rick Santorum, start your TiVo. This is the morning you’ve been waiting for. ...Who would’ve predicted this? A couple of days ago, it looked like Mitt Romney would take two of three, and Santorum routs him in two of three while taking all three.”

Reports of violence continue to come from Syria. Activists say they’re being fired upon as tanks enter neighborhoods. euronews reports...

“Neither reports nor images from Homs can be verified, but it appears ordinary families are bearing the brunt of the Syrian army’s offensive.”

European air safety officials are expanding a check for wing cracks on Airbus A380s. They initially ordered inspections only for the heaviest-used A380s in January. Inspectors traced cracks to Airbus’ use of a less-flexible aluminum alloy. CNN explains what’s ahead.

“It has to happen within the next three to four weeks. The planes will not have to be grounded, I’m sure this is the question many of the airlines were concerned about.”

A recent CDC report says nine out of 10 Americans are getting too much sodium in their diet. The number one salt source? It’s not chips, not pretzels... but bread. Yup. HLN has the rest of the list.

“Number two with sodium-packing power: deli lunch meats. Then it’s pizza, chicken, and soups! You know, not all of these foods are high in sodium by themselves, but we eat too much of them, piling on.”
