Not two, not one, but zero!

“This zero? It is the amount of support that Governor Romney receives from black voters” (Fox Business)

That’s according to the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll of 1,000 registered voters - with a margin of error of about 3%.

Readers on Newser - find it hilarious - but say it spells trouble for Romney.

He’s been trying for a while - as he says to let the dogs out. Remember this from 2008?

Romney: “Who let the dogs out? Who, who, who?”

The who? Well apparently now it’s nobody. But what about the other demographics?

The latest poll shows...

"Obama continues to lead Romney among key parts of his political base Latinos (by a 2-to-1 margin),

voters under 35-years-old (52 percent to 41 percent) and women (51 percent to 41 percent)."

That’s all kind of expected though. On the flipside...

"Romney has an edge with white voters,  (53 percent to 40 percent), seniors (49 percent to 41 percent) , and rural voters. (47 percent to 38 percent)"

So how bad were the latest numbers for Romney? Well zero is obviously rough, but a political contributor to CNN argues the numbers for women at least aren’t that bad - all things considered.

“I think that's a great number. This follows six or seven months of the so-called war on women.  And he's creeping up. The margin is closing. Particularly in the target states.”

Romney’s left with the conventions and the debates to start chipping away to get more female votes - and some of the black vote.
