Littleton, Colorado sits in shock after a man opened fire on middle school students. Two students were shot and injured before a teacher disarmed the shooter.
ABC News points out the situation is all too familiar.
"Columbine High where two teenage gunmen killed 12 students and a teacher in 1999 is less than three miles away. These latest pictures of anxious parents hugging their kids, a massive police response, and students running for cover, were eerily familiar to the scene 11 years ago."
In light of Columbine, Colorado schools have already prepared teachers for situations like this.
