Another day, another fairy-tale wedding. This time starring Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.
Here’s KABC.

“Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are now husband and wife. The reality TV star and professional basketball player said their I do’s yesterday in a private ceremony in Montecito. Kardashian, who wore an ivory Vera Wang dress, was walked down the aisle by her step-dad Bruce Jenner.”

The wedding was a star-studded event complete with Hollywood's royalty---Vera Wang, Mario Lopez, and Demi Lovato in attendance. The extravaganza boasted a 16 - tier cake and a cross embellished with crystals.

The lavish event is being compared to the recent “Royal Wedding” of Prince William and Kate Middleton
Here’s MSNBC...

“The Kardashians have drawn comparisons between Kim’s wedding and the royal wedding. I’m not sure it quite reaches that level. Certainly in terms of majesty, splendor and pomp and circumstance , it will give the royal wedding a run for its money.”

And speaking of money -- the wedding was reportedly not only a celebration of love but a money making event too.
A New York Post writer reports the two quote- “made off like bandits”, saying Kim and Kris...

“...raked in a lot more than a few toasters when they tied the knot last night -- scoring about $17.9 million by turning the ceremony into a media extravaganza.”
ADDING:
“Their biggest payout will come from turning last night's ceremony into a four-hour, two-part TV spectacular called ‘Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event,’ …The special is expected to pull in $12 million to $15 million for the Kardashian family franchise.”

The TV special won’t air until October.
