Emmy Winner Kate Winslet has been mocked by Tweeters for yet another breathless acceptance speech from her awarded role in drama Mildred Pierce.

The 35 year old actress had her head bowed down as they read out the Best Actress Award, only to jump out of her chair and punch the air when she was announced, followed with a very ecstatic acceptance speech...

The star was criticised for her ‘squealing’ speech by Tweeters.

One said... “Another squealing oh-dear-not-me speech by Kate Winslet. Grow up. Really huge joke. Not interested”

And another complained... “You'd think, by now, it would have occurred to Kate Winslet (a) that she might win one of these awards and (b) to write a speech in case”

The Independent observes -- we’ve seen this before from Winslet.

Kate Winslet has perfected the art of the breathless, humbled acceptance speech during her many awards ceremony appearances.”

But this isn’t Winslet’s first criticism for her ‘overwhelmed’ speeches. In 2009 the gushing A lister actually forgot Angelina Jolie’s name in her excitement.

The LA Times suggests the talented actress may have another potential award on her hands.

“An Oscar. Golden Globes. Now an Emmy. And if there was an award for overly giddy acceptance speeches, Kate Winslet might well win that too.”

Despite the criticisms, there were also many complimentary tweets. The Huffington Post particularly admired the actresses ‘humble’ speech -- especially her tribute to all mothers.

“Kate, thanks for reminding everyone just how important we mothers are.”
