John McAfee has spent weeks dodging authorities and avoiding extradition to Belize. Now he’s recovering from a health scare that put the tech giant in the hospital on Thursday. Sky News has the details.

“Fugitive millionaire John McAfee has been taken back to a detention center in Guatemala, after being treated in hospital. His lawyer said he suffered two heart attacks after crossing the border illegally.”

ABC News explains this is arguably one of the most bizarre days in McAfee’s month long run from authorities. Following the incident, a reporter for ABC News says McAfee’s demeanor was dull compared to his behavior during an interview earlier that week.

“A far cry from the jittery and raw McAffee (FLASH) describing his disguises during his month on the run... (FLASH) I had a cane and I was walking like this and I had my jaws stuffed with toilet paper.”

McAfee went to Guatemala seeking asylum. This request was denied. But according to CNN, McAfee’s lawyers could have something up their sleeve to hold off his return to Belize.
