After leaving the show last spring, BBC host Jeremy Clarkson is set to return to "Have I Got News for You" in October.

Jeremy Clarkson seems to be making a career comeback. BBC announced he is set to return to TV as the host of a new season of "Have I Got News for You." (Video via Hat Trick Productions / "Have I Got News For You")

The TV host was fired from BBC's popular show "Top Gear" in March for punching a co-worker on set

Clarkson pulled out of his position with "Have I Got News for You" in April following the incident. 

He will return to the satirical panel show Oct. 2 and work alongside Ian Hislop and Paul Merton. (Video via Hat Trick Productions / "Have I Got News For You")

He'll also be back to work with his "Top Gear" co-hosts in a new Amazon Prime series rumored to be called "Gear Knobs."
