Love’s strange.  But hardly ever this strange.
When two murder suspects fall in love in separate slammers -- and have never met face to face -- well -- that makes for a weird -- not a white -- wedding.
Here’s the Orange County Register’s account.

“The bride wore blue – dark jailhouse blue – the standard-issue uniform for women in the Orange County Women's Jail.  The groom wore mustard yellow, with ‘Orange County Jail’ stenciled across the back of his V-neck pullover.”

20-year-old Marissa Star Bilott is charged with helping a former boyfriend commit murder.
26-year-old Iftekhar Murtaza allegedly killed his estranged girlfriend’s father and sister after a spat.
OC Weekly says -- maybe that’s what created the marital magnetism.

“So, love of parks and murder raps are two things the couple have in common.”

So -- how did these two jailhouse lovebirds meet?
Well -- actually -- they didn’t -- says the Huffington Post.

“The whirlwind romance began in January, when the couple began writing letters to each other. By the second month they were in love, despite having never physically met each other, and by April they were engaged.”

The ceremony was conducted at a California prison.

“They were separated by a chain link fence during the ceremony.  Able to see each other, but unable to touch.” (KCBS)

Which means -- the vows -- were not -- sealed with kiss.
