Jackie O’Nassis Kennedy – the late wife of JFK reportedly made quote “shocking” statements about JFK’s assassination – and their tumultuous relationship.
“Reports of secret records offering some stunning revelations into Jackie Kennedy and who she really thought was behind JFK’s assassination.”
The statements were recorded several months after JFK’s death and have been stashed away for years. The Daily Mail has what’s allegedly on those tapes.
“The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him. … They are [also] believed to include the suggestion that Mr. Kennedy was having an affair with a 19-year-old White House intern, with his wife even claiming that she found knickers in their bedroom.”
So why now? According to several reports Kennedy requested they be released at least 50 years after her death. She died 17 years ago – and her daughter has decided to move up the release date.
“Caroline Kennedy, has agreed to release them early and have them aired on a special program on ABC. It is believed she agreed to the release in exchange for the network dropping its $10 million series about the family.” (Daily Beast)
But how dramatic are the tapes? Nobody really knows for sure yet – and a rep for ABC was quoted by the New York Post saying…
“The tabloid reports about content of the tapes are total nonsense, … ABC isn’t releasing any content from those tapes until mid-September, at which time it will be clear how off base these reports are.”
But according to the Sunday Express – a separate ABC network rep confirmed the tapes are in fact “explosive” and brings a little more insight as to what’s on the tapes.
“A senior network source also revealed that, on the eve of Kennedy’s assassination, he and Jackie shared a night of passion and, despite having cheated on each other in the past, “they talked about having more children."
