Finally the search for Dr. Death is over.

Hello, I am Charlotte Bellies and you are watching Newsy.com.

The world is awaiting confirmation that the most wanted Nazi is dead. This new development is due thanks to an investigation between Germany’s ZDF TV and the New York Times.

We are also looking at perspectives from France 24, South Africa’s News 24, CNN, and the BBC.

“The Nazi war criminal real name Aribert Heim allegedly died in Cairo in 1992, ZDF reports says he live there for nearly 30 years under the name of Tarek Hussein Farid he had apparently converted to Islam, Aribert Heim is accused of killing hundreds of prisoners at the Mauthanusen concentration camp.”
(France 24)

The New York Times has an extensive coverage of their investigation detailing Dr. Heim’s life in Egypt.

“The Doma children and Heim’s own son say he died from cancer in 1992, and while there is no record of dead for Aribert Heim there is a Egyptian death certificated for Tarek Hussein Farid”

“A dusty briefcase with rusted buckles, sitting nearly forgotten in storage here in Cairo, hid the truth behind Dr. Heim’s flight to the Middle East…. the files in the briefcase tell the story of his life, and death” (The New York Times)

News 24 from South Africa has a detailed account of Dr. Heim’s actions in the concentration camp.

“His cruelty - performing hundreds of operations on people without anesthetics and injecting petrol directly into their hearts.” (News 24)

Nazi hunters had been looking for Heim in Latin American in between Chile and Argentina close to la Patagonia. But after this amazing discovery what is the next move for Nazi Hunters?

CNN talks to the Chief Nazi Hunter at the headquarters in Los Angeles, who says…

“"There is no body and no grave, so we can't do a DNA test," he said, adding that "there are people who have a vested interest in convincing us that he is no longer alive…he expects to see the documentary evidence of Heim's death on Thursday. Heim would be 94 years old if he were still alive.”
(CNN)

The BBC reports of the possibility for Germany to bring charges against those who aided Dr. Heim.

“If the reports of Heim's death turn out to be true, however… the German police have a very important investigation on their hands in terms of prosecuting people who helped Aribert Heim escape justice.”
(BBC)
