Special agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrested more than 200 suspects, and identified more than 100 victims after a one-month child-exploitation crackdown. WBNS has the details.

“The department says it arrested 245 suspects from November 1st to December 7th of 2012 …  Authorities say they identified 123 victims of sexual exploitation and rescued 44 of them.”

Officials say the rest of the victims are either adults now, or are no longer with their abuser. WFTV has more on the suspects, and says the investigation needs public help.

“All of them had been charged in the last couple months on child pornography related charges … these photos have been released because ICE needs the public’s help in identifying three of these suspects.”

Investigators found 110 victims in 19 U.S. states, and the others were living in six countries. Here’s WCMH and WKMG with the background on the investigation.

“In November of 2012 to commemorate the one year anniversary in which the identification of a sunflower shaped highway road sign led to the rescue of an 11-year-old girl in Kansas.”

“The investigation is part of the federal agency’s effort to help find and rescue victims and arrest abusers, and people who make or transmit child pornography.”

The investigation will reportedly be continued by Homeland Security under the name, Operation Predator.
