Wow...

“A swing and high drive to center. Get up baby. get up baby! Oh yeah! The Cardinals win it 10-9! Unbelievable.”

Mind blowing...

A game for the ages...

And you probably didn’t see a minute of it...Cause while Cardinals fans were throwing their hands in the air, University of Houston’s Case Keenum threw himself into the record books.

“Keenum throws for 534, 9 touchdowns. And Houston goes on to win this one by 39.”

Keenum entered the game four touchdowns behind Graham Harrell for most all time. He tied the record before halftime and obliterated it by game’s end. Here’s what the Twitterverse had to say...

From Sporting News...

“In case you missed it, Houston's Case Keenum threw as many touchdowns (9) as the Rangers scored runs on Thursday.”

This one comes from CBS’ college football account...

“What Case Keenum is doing is illegal in 34 states. Fortunately, he's in Texas, where nothing is illegal. 9 TDs now, Cougars lead 73-34.”

Nine touchdowns...Imagine how many fantasy football points that would be?...

Sports Blog Nation gives the performance a college degree of separation...

“With nine touchdowns on the night, one not-so-young man's arm surpassed Kent State's touchdown total through seven games. FAU only has nine total touchdowns in seven games.”

But lost in Case-a-palooza was Houston’s Tyron Carrier.

Carrier tied the NCAA record for kickoff returns for touchdowns with this 100-yard return to open the game. He ties the record with seven.

So you’d think nine passing touchdowns would be enough to break the single game record. But that record belongs to David Klinger. He threw 11 of em back in 1990...for Houston.
