A California couple took to the sky to share their vows Monday... but we bet they didn’t realize the “for better or worse” part of their relationship would come THIS quickly... the couple got married in a hot air balloon and minutes later, the balloon crashed.
 

"It was supposed to be a romantic sunset wedding in a hot air balloon... but romance quickly turned to fear."

ROBIN MEADE: “A wind gust is to blame for the second crash which startled the entire neighborhood.
WITNESS: “It just hit the ground, hit my hill and then hit my neighbor's fence and crashed.”

14 people were on board when the balloon crashed... but don’t worry, only one person was hurt with minor injuries. Ironically, the groom is deathly afraid of heights... but he seemed to handle it OK. KFMB spoke with the newlyweds about the incident.

REPORTER: “Despite those scary moments--- Jonathan and Kerin are basking in their newlywed bliss."

GROOM: "Come here baby!!

The local fire department says the pilot did an excellent job of landing, considering there were power lines in the area. As for the couple, they continued to the reception after the mishap.
