Hillary Clinton's first memoir since 2003 now has a title — one that can just as easily speak to her decision whether to make a White House run in 2016.

The book's called "Hard Choices," and it's all about the four years she spent as secretary of state. She writes: "All of us face hard choices in our lives. Life is about making these choices, and how we handle them shapes the people we become.”

The memoir could act as a sort of primer for her campaign; it's portrayed as an explanation of how her "experiences drive her view of the future."

A writer for Businessweek puts it bluntly: "The title of the book suggests she will tout her judgment if she does make a second bid for the Oval Office."

Along those lines, CNN points out the book could help Clinton paint her time as head of the State Department in a positive light, debunking critics who say her tenure was underwhelming with few major triumphs.

According to USA Today"Journalists and political rivals will be most interested in how much Clinton reveals about her relationship and differences with Obama, controversies like the deadly raid on U.S. diplomats in Benghazi, Libya ... and her own political plans."

Whether the memoir will provide a detailed look at those issues remains to be seen, but The New York Times reports she promised the book would address her leadership at a recent event.

According to The Times, Clinton often uses the example of running a team relay to describe her time as secretary. It's a metaphor she says she will bring up in her book, but The Times writes that it allows her to share success while punting failure.

Still, the release of the title comes at a happy time for the Clinton camp — just one day after Chelsea Clinton announced she's pregnant as a happy Grandma Hillary smiled on. (Via The Wall Street Journal)
