Kate and Pippa Middleton may just be the worlds most sought after sisters, but will their popularity transfer in doll form? E! News has the story.

“Kate Middleton and her little sis are transformed into muscle bound collectibles. Here’s a look at the pair as totally ripped toys. These dolls aren't playing around. US company Hero Builders has turned Prince Williams beautiful bride and her stunning sibling into fierce fighters. The designs trade there svelte shapes for bulkier physiques but keep the ladies iconic wedding looks.”

The dolls, donning buff bods complete with bulging biceps, are retailing for up to $190. Could they be the perfect gift this Christmas? A writer for Gather says no way!

“Are you buying one of the new Kate Middleton action figures for anyone for Christmas? Hopefully you're not doing this if you like the gift recipient... If you're a very, very good boy or girl this year, you can rest assured that Santa Claus won't bring you one of these atrocious dolls!”

Gather isn’t the only one giving the dolls a royal beating; US magazine comments:

“They went into the wedding as nice English sisters and they've come out terrifying dolls.”

And a writer for the Daily Mail wonders if this could possibly be the world’s worst Kate Middleton tribute. She thinks the dolls “bolted joints and unladylike proportions, make these grinning women look like they could have been created in Frankenstein's attic.”

The International Business Times believes the manufacturer, Hero Builders, had a quick cash grab in mind.

“It appears the toy company merely wanted to make a few bucks from the Royal Wedding hype in the run up to Christmas, and therefore did not really think through the mechanics or design that would have perhaps been more appropriate for two public figures with royal affiliation.”
