Around 40 percent of cancer cases could have been prevented by leading a healthier lifestyle, according to new statistics from Cancer Research UK.
And the top lifestyle change suggested shouldn't exactly hit like a bolt of lightning. Quit smoking.
According to the research group, which looked at cases from 2007 to 2011, smoking contributed to more than 300,000 cancer cases in the United Kingdom.
