Have you ever found yourself trying to talk to someone with whom you have no common interests? You can only pretend to be texting a few times before it's blatant that you've disengaged. As advanced species, humans should no longer accept stale small talk. Rather, people should be excited to learn more about others. Ryan Lauth, a public speaking coach at Northwestern University, provided tips to help everyone to get past the poor communication.
