Apparently for some, Halloween decorations can get a little too scary — especially when they portray some pretty realistic looking dead bodies.

This is just a peek at Johnnie Mullins’ Halloween decorations. He also has the typical ghost in trees and what not — but the whole garage door shutting on a fake body’s head hasn’t gone over too well with neighbors. (Via WOWK)

It’s even prompted a few 911 calls to the Mustang, Oklahoma police department. (Via Flickr / Scott Davidson)

One neighbor said, “My heart about came out of my chest. … If I think it’s real, just think of what a child would think?” (Via Gawker)

“My kids wanted to decorate so that’s what we did. … the kids that live in this neighborhood don’t freak out or anything, I mean I’m sure they did at first. .... It’s Halloween, I don’t think it’s too far.” (Via KWTV)

The city inspector came out to Mullins’ house and said he wasn’t breaking any laws — apparently telling him to “keep up the good work.”

And now the body count is up — from one trapped in the garage door to another run over by the car. (Via XETV)

Well, isn’t being scared what Halloween is all about? Tis the season.
