The Grammy Nomination show aired Wednesday night and a lot of people walked away surprised. But no one more than Justin Bieber, who according to Rolling Stone, was “Not Swaggy at all”

He walked away without a single nomination, so his manager took to twitter, writing…
“…I just plain DISAGREE. The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one”

A lot of people are also surprised that the boy band One Direction didn’t get a nom either. A writer for E! news notes there was another big snub as well…

“Girls!…not only are the contenders for the most prizes all men, men are the only ones with a chance at winning Album of the Year. Only five or six acts get the call, but still...No Katy Perry. No Kelly Clarkson. No Pink. No Fiona Apple. No Nicki Minaj. Just guys.”

And while most of the focus has been on the Grammy snubs, a CBS contributor says the surprises are a part of the changing face of the Grammy organization.

“Grammy organization and the voters want to get with what’s happening right now. And so it’s been a big tent for them for a long time. There are 81 categories, there’s just too much and they want to focus on what’s happening now.”

“Frank Ocean, Black Keys, FUN, Jay Z, Mumford and Sons all got 6 nominations. That’s kind of a cool group, the range of it.”

The 2013 Grammy Awards will be held on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
