Facebook rival reaches its user limit within its first two days.

FOX news reports -- Google's new social media site has already exceeded the company's expectations..

"Google had to shut down the invite mechanism on their newest social networking experiment called Google + because of what they called quote-- "insane demand ."

PC Magazine says Google+ - its social network is already popular enough to  warrant  hundreds of eBay listings

"The online auction site currently has 255 listings for invites to Google+…Most of the listings are currently going for less than $5…If you're truly desperate to play around with Google+, it appears you'd only be out several dollars if you go the eBay route."

Sky news reports Google + reached its user limit because users were allowed to invite any contact. Google spokeswoman said Google + invitation process will open and close periodically.

"We launched Google+ in a field trial in order to test the product out and gather more feedback...As part of the field trial, we may open and close Google+ to new users at any time."

But a Technology Business Research analyst predicts Google’s so-called “field test” might frustrate people.

"It makes [Google] seem like they're not ready for primetime…You can't really use a social network unless you have a social network.... They get one chance to get attention, but I think [Google] would have been better off with something like, "Try it with one small circle, limited to 10 or 20 or whatever members, instead of something so limited." (Computer World)

CBS reports a lot of first-time users are already excited about its possibilities.

"Kudos to the team at Google+! They've definitely learned from their past mistakes as well as introduced some slick moves around jump starting engagement here... Frankly, they have tried (real hard) to bring together the best of Facebook, Twitter and FriendFeed in one package,"
