The global warming issue is refocusing from melting icebergs and stranded polar bears to the danger for humans. Still, there is a debate amongst news outlets over what that danger is: human rights, money, or livelihood. The Global Humanitarian Forum, led by Kofi Annan, is pushing this shift.

That was video from CNN. First we look at AllAfrica.com who says the issue of global warming is about preserving human rights.

The Jamaica Observer disagrees - saying money is the real issue. Global warming could undercut the region’s economy, which depends on its natural beauty…

The Guardian brings a different perspective - looking at how a Chinese farmer sees the environment as an adversary.

Global warming has even entered the discussion of the recent Air France crash.
