His Restoring Honor rally was for grown-ups -- but have no fear, kids -- Glenn Beck hasn’t forgotten about you.

The former Fox News host best known for his tearful on-air conspiracy theories -- is launching a children’s show.

GBTV: “We’re calling the segment on GBTV The Liberty Treehouse, because I want to take a closer look at history.”

The show will air on his streaming, subscription-based Internet channel, and targets the 8-15 year old audience. That streaming channel -- GBTV -- has 230,000 paying viewers according to The Wall Street Journal.

Politico’s Keach Hagey writes...

“The show is a measure of how broadly Beck is stretching his brand now that he is no longer working for anyone but himself in the television arena.”

But to his critics -- the idea of an educational children’s show with the backing of Beck -- might raise concerns. To that, The Atlantic Wire’s Adam Clark Estes sarcastically responds:

“It's not that Beck has a problem with indoctrinating children. He just wants to make sure they're indoctrinated the right way.”

But a writer for Slate says, she’s actually rooting for the show to succeed.

“This is a program created for the children of the choir, who are already surprisingly familiar with Beck. … So the very best thing that a non-Beck-lover can hope for is that Liberty Treehouse be good … enough to spark thought and discussion among those kids that will lead them beyond Beck’s rhetoric and into an arena where they’ll discover the value of considering all the sides of a debate for themselves.”

Beck isn’t hosting Liberty Treehouse himself -- but it’ll be on right before his show.
