Wake up and smell the carnage! FNC is running up the score. What MSNBC or CNN wouldn't do for viewer ratings like FNCs. Maybe those other networks should try being fair and honest and they might be able to get back in the game. Fair, balanced and unafraid! Keep up the great job Fox!

To be fair...if you watch Fox News minus Hannity just as you would Olberman on MSNBC they do actual real reporting. All the major Democratic players give interviews. Fox News was very harsh on W the last couple of years. The other networks are very one sided...I have switched to Fox...minus Hannity. That guy is a Right Winger.

Faux 'news' hires the dregs of journalism. The people who watch it are the same folks who watch Jerry Springer and call people smarter then they, elitists.
Watching that channel, I can feel my IQ dropping like a thermometer thrown in the freezer.
It makes you realize that as a species, we certainly have a LOT of evolving to do.

Although Fox does "bring in the other side" to debate issues, the problem is that they don't really "debate." If the other side makes a valid argument, the standing conservative just gets angry and starts spewing nonsensical rebuttals. I'm not crazy about everything the president has been up to, but I don't believe the vernacular used by Fox against him, even through the election, is appropriate. I know some very intelligent conservatives as well as some very intelligent liberals, and at the end of the day, it boils down to the individual's level of media literacy. The problem isn't Fox News and it isn't MSNBC or CNN. The problem is people who take every word they hear from a news network, fail to analyze it, and then base their entire viewpoint on the statements of that single network...

When my father was alive he loved saying there is a fool born every minute, since that time I believe there is one every second. Are you kidding...Fox is the most biased news network in the world and that includes the old Tass news agency

There are more choices for lberals and democrats. We can watch MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, Headline News, etc. Fox is the only Neo-Con Right Wing channel so they all flock to that one. If only CNN or MSNBC existed for liberals, then it would have the lion share of the ratings.

What I find hilarious is the statement about journalistic responsibility. As an independent I'm not for or against any news station based on their politics. But I'm very against Fox News. Fox often has erroneous information on their channel, rarely retracts erroneous or false statements later disproven and actually WENT TO COURT IN 2003 TO DEFEND THEIR RIGHT TO LIE ON THE AIR AND MISLEAD VIEWERS IN DEFIANCE OF FCC REGULATIONS. That is the problem a lot of people really have with Fox News. It's not the conservative thing. It's the lying to the audience thing. Unfortunately like a prior commenter said, No other news has cashed in on that conservative news market by giving honest information. That is an untapped market.

Fuks News is popular because its audience are all shutins who have nothing better to do than watch the idiot box. Liberals actually have social lives and rarely watch television.

Where do I start....Foxnews is no more conserative than MSNBC is liberal. At least Foxnews has both sides of every issue debated. We are tired of being told what we are to believe..Fox gives us the choice to make up our own minds.Even the opinion shows bring in the other side to present their views. We are tired of being treated as if we are brainless and cannot see though so much of the "talk" from the media and Washington. Obama's election just woke us up....we are the huge giant that has been sleeping but now we are waking up.

They do lean right, CNN leans left, MSNBC is far left. But all anyone ever wants to talk about is Foxs right leaning. I wonder why?

I tune in to Fox News for the same reason I attend hockey games: to watch the fights. On an infotainment scale, it falls somewhere between the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. If I want thoughtful news analysis, I'll read the Wall Street Journal.

Why isn't this on the front page? It's more recent than many of the videos there.

The story is setup with a flaw in the premise. It'not the percentage of "Republicans" that's an issue, its the number of "Conservatives" and "Independents" that give FOX news an inroad. In a Gallup report dated June 15, 2009, they found "40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal." Almost twice as many have a "conservative" view as compared to "liberal."

i have been watching fox news forever. say you want, they are the only ones who report both sides. do they lean to the right, yes, slightly, but they ALWAYS show/debate both sides of the issue. people are starting to wise up. and they did keep an eye on the previous administration...to think they didn't is untrue. everyone better wise up and start watching fox news if they want the truth but this administration...the "slobering love affair" the main stream media has with president obama is pathetic and keith oberman is an idiot.

Surprised that another media company has not tried to take advantage of the opportunity of serving a right-leaning audience. It exists on the web but not on TV.

The quote from CNN co-founder in this video is right on target - with Obama in office, Republicans have had nowhere to turn except Fox News "for comfort and confirmation."

I wouldn't call Fox News a "watchdog on the White House". Fox News obviously wasn't watching W and his administration the last 8 years.
