“She is the cover girl causing controversy.  Heidi Montag, 10 plastic surgery procedures in just one day.  How dangerous is that? And at just 23 years old is she addicted to plastic surgery?”

Celebrities’ affection for plastic surgery is nothing new, but this latest plastic binge in Hollywood has people asking-- how much is too much?

We have perspectives from The View, Access Hollywood, HLN, and NBC.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Heidi shows off her new look and describes part of the lengthy procedure.

“I had a slight eyebrow lift, I had real staples in my head.  I had my ears pinned back because I couldn’t wear my hair up for red carpets because my ears always stuck out…I had my jaw sawed down and reshaped.  I had my nose corrected.  I had fat injections put into my cheeks and lips that was from my legs, and I had a little bit of Botox put in my forehead.”

Elizabeth Hasselbeck from The View says that Heidi is just one example of a serious problem.

“Heidi is sort of literally now a poster child for this.  And I’m not sure if she has this, but there is a lot of body dysmoprhic disorder going on right now especially with girls 23 and younger.  The difference between Heidi and the most of the other young girls who are having self-loathing and picking apart their bodies etc, is that she is actually in a position where she can actually have the surgery to do this.  What’s really happening is an epidemic through the country is girls wanting to change their bodies day in and day out and we need to do a better job of teaching them to love themselves.”

On HLN Jane Valedez wonders if Montag is addicted to plastic surgery.

“The criteria of addiction is escaping from reality with mood altering substances or behavior and then continuing that cycle of binging and wanting more, remorse, wanting more then you get withdrawal…The element I do not see here with Heidi Montag is remorse.  She just says she wants more and more and more.  She says she is going to go back and get more surgery for her breasts.”

So what do you think of 10 plastic surgeries in one day?  Has Hollywood taken plastic surgery too far?
