Some people think there is nothing worse than a Facebook change. Well now users actually can have a say in it. Here’s WKRN.

 

“Facebook users are invited to vote on the revisions through an app called the Facebook site governance vote. Polling officially opened yesterday afternoon and will close at 2 p-m December 10th.”

 

WTVT says Facebook is trying to expand on the rights it already has.

 

“It underscores how much people know about their digital rights. Right now under Facebook’s terms and conditions Facebook has the right to take anything on your page that is public.”

 

TechCrunch sums up some of the major points users can vote on.

 

 

NBC News reports on the the polling numbers as of Tuesday morning.

 

“...about 6,000 users voted for the new data use policy and statement of rights and responsibilities, while over 65,000 opposed the new documents.”

 

But those numbers are way off of the 30 percent of the 1 billion Facebook users, which is about 300 million voters.

  • Facebook may clarify who can view your content after you hide it from your Timeline."
