Move over Billy Blanks and Jillian Michaels -- there’s a new kid in the DVD workout market.
No reall -- he’s a kid. CNN introduces us to 10-year-old CJ Senter.

ANCHOR: “Now do you see a lot of your friends, people in school and growing up, do you see them sitting around the house a lot, not getting outside and getting active, eating bad food and quite frankly, getting big?"
C.J: “Yes, I see a lot of kids doing that. That’s why I wanted to make a Workout Kid DVD so they can get on their feet and have fun.”

C.J’s passion for exercise started five years ago when his football coach told the team to go home and exercise. Turns out, he loved it. Now, his workout DVD’s are taking America by storm. Angry Trainer Fitness blog says…

“He’s simply awesome, the videos are top notch and well produced, are fun and entertaining, and without a doubt right on target for today’s youth. This is what America’s future needs...”

A kid-focused workout video is not a new concept. After First Lady Michelle Obama’s recent focus on tackling childhood obesity -- there are lots of videos competing in this niche. So what’s so special  about “The Workout Kid?”  Bizmology explains…

“What’s unique to Workout Kid is that its spokesperson and instructor is a pre-teen, not an adult fitness guru with children in the background as the backdrop.”

But this photo of C.J. with his ripped body has people questioning if this much exercise is good for his health. (Image Source: The Workout Kid)

Here’s what one anchor had to say on Philadelphia's WTXF.

“I know working out is good for you, I love doing it myself. But when your body is that young and you're really not fully developed yet -- like, your bones are still growing and your muscles are still growing. Well, when I think about gymnasts and how taxed their bodies are and all of the problems that they face later on in life. So I just wonder if that’s something to weigh in the balance...”

WTXF reports C.J’s dad has already hired an agent for his son.
