I would suggest watching the 60 Minutes interview. James Brown really gave a hard interview, really pressed the important questions. Whether or not he truely, deep down feels remorseful about the animal cruelty isn't so important. What is important is that I feel he will NEVER do this again, and will be a proponent of anti-dog fighting organizations. He will be a better person for it. Maybe even a better player.

Vick should never have been allowed back.

I will no longer support any sports franchise or brand that allows convicted felons to participate.

Micheal Vick's only remorse is that he got caught! And that was after he out and out lied! I'm sick of the adoration of athletes, no matter how heinous their crime. And the public not only tolerates them, but rewards them for domestic violence, DUI, steroid use, and other crimes. Lets give some of that big money to school teachers, nurses, and others who actually perform a valuable function in life!

I wished that people would let all of this go. Vick has paid his debt. I really thought that he got way to much time for his crime. In America a person can get more time for hurting animals than humans. A family member of mine was shot and killed and the person who did it only recieved 2 years in jail and 5 years of probation. So can someone please explain to me why a dog life is more important than a humans?

Your people are hypocrites, what about all the years blacks, latino, and especially the indians was mistreated by white florks, but you all want to be forgiven and not bring up the race card, but it still happen. When a black man do something to something or to somebody that white people love, you all are quick to try and make an example of.GET OVER IT FLORKS.

Michael Vick did his crime and then did his time. He is now a free man and deserves the right to earn living within the legal boundries of his chosen profession. The same people who are protesting this man playing "a game" do not complain one bit about the drug dealers, child molesters and wife beaters who walk America's streets and work at various occupations daily. I too am sad that he chose to engage in dog fighting. An activity that is legal in many non US counties. I am also sad that he engaged in animal abuse. But we need to get our priorities straight. This country has a lot worse things to worry about than being preoccupied with Michael Vick.

WHAT'S WITH THE SECOND CHANCE NONSENSE!!!! BETTER TAKE A HARD LOOK AT THIS DEAL WITH VICK. DID HE GIVE THE DOGS A SECOND CHANCE? VICK HAD A SUPER RELATIONSHIP WITH OWNER OF THE FALCONS!! YEP, SURE DID. NOW, JUST TO MAKE SURE EVERY ONE
GETS THIS----HE LIED TO HIS BEST FRIEND!!!! WHY DID HE DO THAT?
HE DID IT TO GET OUT OF A BAD JAM. THAT KIND OF RELATIOSHIP WAS BUILT FROM B.S. VICK IS A LIER AND A CHEAT. SOMEBODY SHOULD GIVE VICK THE SAME TREATMENT HE GAVE THE DOGS. MAYBE SADDLE UP WITH O.J.
THIS GUY IS SICK

All you hypocrites disgust me..Vick was wrong, wrong, wrong, but I guess all you high and mighty sanctimonius citizens think it's o.k. to put kittens in a bag and drop them in a lake and drown them..what about all you fans of cockfighting? All of you that kill harmless deer and rabbits for sport..not to mention in some texas and california communities dog fighting still goes on..the man made a mistake..now you'all look in the mirror..the finger you're pointing at vick has four others pointing back at you!

I watched his interview on ABC and what I saw was a cold hearted arrogant man. I give him maybe one excuse he might have been been nervous. What ever the Eagles thought they accomplished with his signing I hope it haunts them for long time. What a role model!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take a good chunk of his paycheck and hand it over to the HSUS and Dog Town whre his surviving dogs were rehabilitated. One more thing in his mind these dogs that were so brutally killed whre was their second chance. they in his eyes were not even worth a bullet. I hope Wayne Pacelle from the HSUS keeps close taps on that guy.

he and j. lurie can talk from now to forever. he's not sorry. he doesn't recognize what he did. whether given a second chance or not - a person who could have done what he did hasn't suddenly seen the light. he could have sat in prison for 18 years - and never understood the depth of his own evil. sign him up - let him play - forget the message to the youth who look up to these people. but, puhleeze - don't underestimate the public's intelligence - he'll never be a "reformed" human being or a "recovered" sociopathic sadist.

I would also add to those who are so judgmental, I hope your arrow is really straight. What is this were your son or daughter? Wouldn't you hope society would give them a second chance? I think so.

Good for Philly. He deserves a second chance. I am an animal lover and a Dallas Cowboy fan, but I am all for MV proving to all of us he is now a man of his word.

you are just sorry that you got caught.
shame on you for torturing those innocent animals.

It amazes me how those who get caught are sorry! He knew what he was doing was illegal. He should be banned from any sport the rest of his life. Why did he get a second chance when Pete Rose didn't? These over paid athletes have to set an example for the young who are admiring some of their heroes. It makes me feel ill to think about the horrible pain he allowed and caused to the dogs. The NFL COMMISSIONER got this one all wrong. The EAGLES OWNER'S should be ashamed of themselves. I hope they can't sleep at night over there lousy decision.
