While the Eagles season goes down like a double cheese steak, DeSean Jackson continues to catch more headlines than footballs. Pro Football Talk says Jackson should get ready for a few more hits.

“One week after dropping a few passes and shying away from some hits over the middle, Jackson’s performance in the first half of Thursday’s game won’t quiet down the talk radio callers in Philadelphia.”

So what’d D-Jax do this time? Well, it may be what he didn’t do...

Video shows Eagles quarterback Vince Young talking to Jackson. But Jackson appears disinterested and staring off into space.

But like any Terrell Owens impersonator should know, the night doesn’t end when the final whistle blows. It ends after the cameras stop rolling. And in the post game interview, the show was still going.

“You were spotted hanging out with the defensive lineman while the receivers were catching other passes. Is this something your normally do?...’Brad, I’m not feelin, I’m not answering any of those types of questions Rick. If you’re gonna ask something about the game. Do that. You’re asking questions that don’t even mean nothing. Next question. Golly.’... So there’s no dissention between you and your teammates?”

Jackson didn’t appreciate the media mauling but his performance Thursday left more questions than answers. The Philadelphia Inquirer got another perspective on Jackson’s behavior.

"One teammate, though, when asked if Jackson was completely in the game, said: "No, he's [messing] around."

I’m sorry Mr. Jackson, ohh, are you forreal? Your own teammate called you out.

However, ESPN analyst Skip Bayless is quick to Jackson’s defense.

“Eagles management has put him in a position to predictably self-destruct because Eagles management brought in a parade of players who got paid.”

Ah so its a money issue. The Bleacher Report offers some perspective on how a pay raise works in the real world.

“When are guys like Jackson going to realize that the best way to sign a mega-deal is to actually work for it? … Not only is his childish demeanor ruining his chances to get re-signed by the Eagles, but what other NFL team is going to offer him a contract with the possibility of a future Jackson headache?”

Eagles coach Andy Reid has been one of the many scapegoats of the Eagles traumatic season. But he stands by his star receiver. At least when the camera are rolling. He tells USA Today...

"You can take a camera and make it look any way you want to make it look," Reid told reporters. "I am telling you, that kid was all in last night and wanted to win that game as much as anybody."

But the Eagles went all in and lost again. Now Philly fans are beside themselves including “Angry” Greg Ryan. He gives his review to CSN Philly.

“Do you see any strategy? No I see no strategy. There is no method to the madness here. It’s just madness.”

And it’s not even March. Where does DeSean go from here? Next question.
