What better way to promote your new movie than by bashing the Kardashians? That’s exactly what Daniel Craig did in a new interview with GQ. ITN recaps his rant, replacing an expletive or two.

“‘Look at the Kardashians- they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them. You see that and you think, what? You mean, all I have to do is behave like a bonking idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions? I’m not judging it, well, I am, obviously.’ It’s a pretty ferocious attack on the socialites, but then again, Craig can say what he wants, really. After all, he is James bond.”

A Gawker blogger applauds Craig’s mini-tirade.

“As an experienced Kardashian ranter, I give this rant a B+. Points for passion and that unrepentant bitchiness, but I can't give this a perfect score because it's based on a fundamentally flawed assumption. Kardashians don't experience shame, Daniel.”

And The Stir says Craig’s entitled to his opinion, but questions his motivation.

“...so why exactly did he waste his breath expending all that negative energy and bashing this family that has done nothing to harm him. I mean, if they're that awful, why does he know so much about them? He should just stay up on his high horse and leave them alone down there.”

But as Hollyscoop points out, the chances of this affecting the Kardashian Klan are slim to none.

ANI ESMAILIAN: “Somewhere out there Kim Kardashian just batted a false eyelash and pressed the speed-dial on her phone to the E!News room while she tries to figure out how to spin the story. ‘Hmm ... how can we blame Kris Humphries for this?’ she wonders out loud.”

Bonus points on this one- Craig’s rant hit the blogosphere the same day Kourtney Kardashian announced the fam’s expanding, as she’s expecting baby number two.
