It's time France tackles its immigration problems and how UK comes into play may a good chance for them to strengthen bilateral ties.

The French are being very fair, but this camp closure is perhaps more of a demonstration of power than a step towards reform.

They should all be deported back to their home country and fined. They are breaking the law, simple as that.

One question I have that wasn't answered in this video is why close was the refuge camp closed now? Also, why did France allow the camp to get so large in the first place?

Immigration is such a tricky problem. People illegally entering a country do not technically have any rights to be there, but it still seems inhumane to force refugees out, especially when they are children. The process for entry into another country should be equally accessible to all, despite nationality or income level. I think that should be the guiding thought, but maybe adapting policy for especially chaotic times such as war would not be such a bad idea.
