Chelsea Clinton Reminds Us (Again) That Her Mom Is Human

"My earliest memory is my mom picking me up after I'd fallen down, giving me a big hug and reading me 'Goodnight Moon,'" Chelsea Clinton said.

On the last night of the Democratic National Convention, it was Clinton's turn to share a side of her mother that many don't see.

"Whenever my mom was away for work, which thankfully didn't happen very often, she left notes for me to open every day she was gone. All stacked neatly together in a special drawer with a date on the front of each one so I would know which one to open on which day," Clinton said.

Throughout the convention, speakers shared personal stories, memories and emotions to paint their candidate as a a friend, an ally and a mom. There was no better person than the nominee's daughter to finish off the task.
