Casey Anthony walked out of the Orange Country pen with only $537 to her name. It may not be enough to restart her life, but Tot Mom’s cash flow could get a boost thanks to Hustler owner Larry Flynt.
VIRGINIA: “... A men's magazine is making her an offer to top off all of them in terms of money... Larry Flynt and Hustler want to pay big money for her photo. Jean, we are talking a lot of money here, right?
JEAN: “$500,000 is the offer, but he says that beyond that it is 10% of all the profits.” (HLN)
Flynt’s offer could top Casey’s latest demands for a $1.5 million interview -- an amount Fox reports isn’t something ABC would give away.
“The bidding for an exclusive interview with Casey Anthony is at one and a half million dollars. The offer apparently not coming from ABC. The network announcing it's no longer paying for interviews.”
So if national networks won’t touch her -- why is Flynt ready to cut a check? He explains to HLN, he’s just giving ‘Americans what they want.’
“While there may be a group of people how the there who think that she's guilty of murder, you've got the men that say, hey, you know, I want to see her in her birthday suit... I'm a businessman and I got to consider making certain business decisions.”
A blogger for Ringside Report says the self-branded single mom is holding a blank check, but doesn’t have to cash it for Flynt’s prized photo.
“There is plenty of money on the table for just doing interviews, more money than she is being offered to take off her clothing. You have to tip your hat to Flynt for being a genius at marketing, but don’t take this too seriously. It isn’t going to happen.”
But is Anthony really worth a million dollars? A blogger for SheKnows calls her demands ‘laughable.’
“Before a has-been starlet can land the made-for-TV movie role, the first step is a major interview with one of the major networks. Think Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, etc. Oprah could even come out of retirement for this one. The only problem is Anthony may be the only one convinced of her value.”
The Orlando Sentinel is reporting if Casey’s clothes come off -- Flynt plans to donate a portion of the profits to an abused children shelter.
