In the town of Wyoming, Minnesota, a group of small business owners paid for this ad of Former U.S. President George W. Bush asking, "Miss me yet?"  The billboard has news outlets across the United States speculating on the effectiveness of this ad.

We're taking a look at perspectives from FOX News, Christian Science Monitor, The Young Turks, and KARE-11.

Wyoming Mayor Sheldon Anderson has no affiliation with the group who funded the billboard, but tells FOX News the ad is causing a lot of buzz among local residents.

Sheldon Anderson: "I've had people willing to make donations to keep the billboard up longer."

Megyn Kelly: "Would you put up another ad promoting Barack Obama if such people wanted to pay for one?"

Anderson: "I wouldn't support it, but, you know, it's something that people would be willing to do that, it's free speech, and I wouldn't be against it."

A writer for The Chrisitian Science Monitor says this attention is exactly what makes a successful advertisement.

"A key thing about a billboard or a large ad ... it has the power to stop you in your stride that comes from the incongruity of seeing something in a public space where you're not conditioned to expect something."

But a reporter from The Young Turks has a different perspective.  He says the billboard is detrimental to its sponsors' cause.

"They couldn't have wasted their money more if they tried.  This is simply the most counterproductive billboard in American history.  (FLASH)  That's the best billboard Obama could hope for.  Man, they should put that all over the country.  His numbers, Obama's numbers will go back up."

An independent Wyoming city council member tells KARE that the advertisement is like any other billboard.

"I mean, when you look at the message, 'Do you miss me?,' I certainly don't miss him. I think it's strictly entertaining.  I think it's amusing. I think it's silly.  It'll run it's course like everything else."

So, do you think this is an effective billboard ad?
