Twihards can finally stop holding their breath: OMG -- The official Breaking Dawn trailer has been released.
And it’s confirmed that the concluding film in the Twilight saga will be split into two parts over the next two years.
Entertainment Weekly asks “Are you sufficiently teased?”
For the initiated-- USA Today explains what goes down in the last novel of the series.
“Torrid honeymoon sex in tropical Brazil. The most horrifying pregnancy since Rosemary delivered her devil child. The threat of a vampire massacre on a nuclear scale. No wonder the film version of Breaking Dawn is coming out in two parts...”
For those Twi-fans who are dying to know how the story will be split, Producer, Wyck Godfrey tells USA Today, the first installment will end -- spoiler alert -- just before Kristen Stewart’s character gets turned into a vampire.
The Washington Post says the new trailer shows the lovely pasty-whiteness of the Swan-Cullen wedding-- which will be featured in the first part of the finale. And of the love triangle...
“...that’s really the big draw here for those who never pledged allegiance to Team Edward or Team Jacob.”
And although fans have been waiting for the Breaking Dawn trailer since the third film, Eclipse, hit theaters in June last year, MTV says...
“...it was worth the wait! ... experts and ‘Twilight’ superfans are stunned by director Bill Condon's nail-biting trailer.”
Finally, CNN gives a word of comfort for those that haven’t been sucked in to Edward Cullen’s vampiric valour.
“For those of you who are ‘Twi’-fatigued, remember: it'll all be over by 2013...”
