One tweet. A thousand opinions. Arian Foster’s injured hamstring has the Internet buzzing.
Foster tweeted this photo along with the caption “This is an MRI of my hamstring, The white stuff surrounding the muscle is known in the medical world as anti-awesomeness”

A Yahoo! Sports writer says teams already knew about the state of Foster’s knee...so what’s the big deal?
“People were talking about Foster's hamstring before the tweet. It's not like Colts coaches are going to be passing out copies of it to their players, so they can better target the inflamed area.”
But ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi (Brew ski), who played for the notoriously tight lipped Bill Belichick, says Foster has tipped his hand to opponents.
“This was just incredibly stupid, if you ask me, I mean, I never, you’re twittin’ an MRI picture, x-rays, giving other teams intimate knowledge of your playing ability, incredibly dumb. What would Belichick have done? I know we’re on the radio, but can you see my face? Can you see my face, the shock?.”
A writer for the Houston Chronicle says athletes tweeting is anti-awesome.
“...shut down your Twitter account. Yes, you’ve got a lot to say. Yes, you seem like a smart guy (probably not as smart as you think). In the NFL, that’s a real bad combination.”
But Chris Mortenson takes the other side - he wants the tweets to keep coming - the juicier, the better.
“On behalf of all the reporters and journalists, and you can put that with an asterisk if you feel like it, we want to encourage all the Arian Fosters and the players in the world that use twitter to divulge as much information as possible”
