Looking for a Black Friday line to stand in? You just got a new option. In an email Tuesday, Apple teased its Black Friday deals.
So what kind of savings can you expect? We’re not sure. GigaOm reports...
“The teaser is heavy on the tease and light on the info, telling shoppers only that Apple will indeed hold a ‘one-day shopping event’ on Friday, Nov. 25.”
But 9to5Mac claims to have some answers.
The site posted these reportedly leaked photos of Apples Black Friday ad on Tuesday showing discounts of...
$101 off on Macs
$41-$61 off on iPads
$11 off on iPod Nano
and
$21-41 off on iPod Touch
So should you cash in on Apple’s seasonal savings? The Next Web says don’t bother.
“We expect that other online stores and Apple authorised resellers will easily beat the company on the deals front, so a prospective buyer would be well advised to research their options before reaching for their wallet.”
And the Washington Post reports there’s one hot holiday item missing -- iPhones -- but notes they might still make the list.
“...it’s unclear whether not naming the device in the posting means it will be excluded from the company’s deal offerings.”
Finally, don’t want to stand in line? Go online. The company’s deals will also be available in Apple’s online store and via the company’s App Store iOS app.
